- To find the amount of music you need you multiply min x bpm / beats per measure = number of measures you need.
- How to make a simple chord progression into a more complex one
- Two techniques
- play with the quality of the chords / try t use more complex sounding qualities without compromising the chord progression
- One way is to experiment with making chords into sevenths
- Focus on the flow of the progression
- Making sure we are still using cadence properly
- Remembering to do things like connecting bass lines
- Making sure the chord progression is coherent
- play with the quality of the chords / try t use more complex sounding qualities without compromising the chord progression
- Don’t start off too complicated because more complexity can be added later.
